Lost car keys
By Dave Rinnder

How many times have you been on the way out of your front door, late setting off for work as usual, when everything seems to go wrong. The children won`t or can`t find their shoes and coats and at least one of them throws a tantrum. You start shouting and screaming like a banshee, hoping the neighbours aren`t listening when, with a sickening lurch of your heart, you realise on top of all this you have Lost Car Keys. You frantically try to think back as hard as you can to determine where you last had them but all you can think about is the Lost Car Keys and how you are sure they have vanished into thin air. As you turn your house upside down vaguely noting how all the careful tidying up you did last night is completely negated, you feel like crying with exasperation and rage. Finally, after twenty minutes of the children screaming and causing chaos and you in a state of stress that is off the stratosphere, you locate the Lost Car Keys hanging on the hook where they should have been all along.

I think we can safely say that the summer is over. Thereâ??s a distinct autumnal feel in the air at the moment and weâ??ve already had our heating on a few times during the first week of September. Iâ??m not giving up hope of being able to use the back garden a bit more this year though because Iâ??m going to buy myself a patio heater. I like nothing more than to sit outside in the evening chatting over the dayâ??s events with my partner. If I bought a patio heater we could do this most evenings as long as it was dry. Patio heaters were first brought to my attention when the landlord of our local pub invested in a couple when he wanted to create a cosy type of outdoor atmosphere. He recognised that people often like to dine and drink alfresco even during the cooler parts of the year. Once a patio heater is burning it creates a great deal of warmth and people feel toasty as a result. A number of trendy designs are now available to pick and choose from in the patio heater range. Itâ??s possible to find heaters that come with wooden and rattan bases and these blend in well with many garden designs.
